**As of 5/24/21, we are only seeking applicants for the Traffic Recorder Operator position**

The Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) is accepting applications for a summer job as a traffic recorder operator with the department’s Systems Planning Bureau.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old at the time of employment with a valid driver’s license, available now until mid-August 2021, and must travel statewide and stay overnight from Sunday afternoons through Friday mornings. Pay is $14.82 per hour, employees are reimbursed for eligible incurred expenses for lodging and food and vehicles are supplied by the Iowa DOT.
